On May 25, 2023, the academic staff and students of the University took part in the discussion lecture on Green Campus Initiatives in the EU. This event was held as part of the implementation of the EU Erasmus+ project: Module: Green Campus Strategies: EU Experience for Ukrainian Universities. The speaker was Tetiana Vasylieva, PhD in Economics, professor.

The lecture focused on a range of important issues related to green campuses. The audience was able to examine the goals and principles of establishing green campuses. The speaker revealed in detail the role of such campuses in mitigating climate changes and their impact on environmental sustainability.

Attendees found out about the most efficient ways to save energy, use renewable energy sources, sort waste and other initiatives that can be implemented at green campuses.

This online lecture was an excellent opportunity for University representatives to learn about cutting-edge approaches to establishing green campuses in the European Union.
