The Ukrainian Studies Go Global Conference will take place at the initiative of the Foundation of the President of Ukraine for education, science and sports.

The Ukrainian Studies Go Global Conference will take place at the initiative of the Foundation of the President of Ukraine for education, science and sports.
The conference is aimed at encouraging public and academic discussions concerning the study of Ukraine, as well as at stressing the importance of promoting research in Ukraine and abroad.
The following speakers will take part in the event:
✔️Kostiantyn Sihov (PhD, associate professor, director of the Center for European Humanities Research of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy)
✔️William Blacker (associate professor at the Department of Culture of Ukraine and Eastern Europe at University College London)
✔️Andrii Portnov (professor of Ukrainian history at European University Viadrina)
✔️Olena Romanenko (PhD in Philology, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv)
✔️Ostap Sereda (PhD in History, PhD in Historical Sciences, associate professor at the Department of History of the Ukrainian Catholic University)
✔️Yevhen Hlibovytskyi (expert in long-term strategies, lecturer at Kyiv-Mohyla Business School).

At the beginning of the conference, five universities will present Ukrainian studios at their institutions. They include:
European University Viadrina
University College London
Pennsylvania State University
University of Warsaw
University of Toronto
The first panel discussion will be dedicated to Ukraine from the global perspective: condition and prospects of the study, research, and learning.
The second panel discussion will focus on Ukraine in terms of specialized research.
The event will bring together Ukrainian visionaries and industry-specific researchers in order to figure out what intelligent product we can export to the world.
The above-mentioned project, Ukrainian Studies Go Global, intends to investigate the best practices of the development of Ukrainian studios and Ukrainian studies in Ukraine and abroad, as well as to promote the study of Ukraine as a topic for research in various aspects: from energy to cybersecurity.
The project team analyzed the world’s top 200 universities according to the QS World University Ranking 2022 in order to realize where Ukrainian studies is explored as part of general programs and where Ukrainian studios teach individually. These data and contacts of corresponding universities and professors have been put on the map so that every student or lecturer has access to it. Besides, one has created case studies describing current challenges in education, medicine, cybersecurity, and energy for academic discussion.

The Ukrainian studies go global project is implemented at the initiative of the Foundation of the President of Ukraine for education, science and sports.
The implementation partner of the project is Eidos Center for Political Studios and Analysis with the support of the Representative Office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine.
The conference will be held in partnership with the Ukrainian Institute and the Crimean Platform National Office with the support of the Office of the President of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
