Participation in the scientific conference with international involvement: ‘Health resort treatment and rehabilitation: modern development trends’

On September 30 – October 1, 2021, Ukrainian Research Institute of Medical Rehabilitation and Resort Therapy of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in Odesa held a scientific conference with international involvement: ‘Health resort treatment and rehabilitation: modern development trends’.

The conference is included in the Register of meetings, congresses, symposiums, scientific conferences to be held in 2021.

The conference was aimed at specialized scientific and practical discussions of the organization of health resort treatment and delivery of rehabilitation aid in the healthcare sector, rational use of natural treatment resources and complex development of resort territories, improvement of health resort services quality.

The conference involved scientists, doctors, researchers from numerous regions of Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, including a representative of International European University, Verholias M.R., Doctor of Biology, Head of the Department of Medical and Prophylactic Disciplines. She was a moderator of the plenary meeting and spoke on the topics: ‘High-quality water as natural treatment resources in rehabilitation methods’ and ‘Natural treatment resources of Turkmenistan – underground hospital at Bakharden cave’.

After the reports, Verholias M.R. received a certificate and took part in the roundtable conversation involving representatives of Poland, Belarus and officials from Odesa.

Roundtable participants examined operations and activity areas of our University. They were impressed with such an advanced university in Ukraine and offered further cooperation.
