Everyone knows that International European University promotes environmental friendliness. We regularly take part in eco-projects, in particular, we have joined the Green University project.

Thus, let’s become more eco-friendly on World Environment Day

Where to start?

Step 1. Begin to collect one or several types of waste and give them to recycling. Start with paper and then add other fractions: plastic, glass, aluminium, etc.

Step 2. Require your management company to set up containers for hazardous waste (mercury vapor lamps, batteries) for inhabitants of an apartment building.

Step 3. Involve others.

Tell people about the problem, explain how to influence the situation, share information and describe your experience. Be an example for others.

Remember the rule of five R!

1. REFUSE — refuse unnecessary things.

2. REDUCE — reduce consumption.

3. REUSE — use something repeatedly/repair things.

4. RECYCLE — sort and send secondary raw materials to recycling.

5. ROT — compost organic wastes.
