The International European University actively promotes sustainable development and saves the environment, running various events for students, teachers and the public. Here is an overview of the activities that the university has held in the last three years:
In 2021, it was organized 37 events related to sustainable development and the environment. This included scientific-practical conferences, environmental initiatives, such as planting coniferous trees and green areas in gardens and parks, as well as lectures for students about the importance of taking care of nature.
In 2022, the number of events increased significantly and amounted to 66. In addition to the previous types of events, the university ran events related to ecology in the conditions of the military conflict in Ukraine, as well as ecological forums that contribute to the discussion of the problems of ecology and sustainable development.
In 2023, the number of events was 54, continuing to support initiatives aimed at preserving the environment. These activities include events dedicated to sustainable development and ecology, as well as co-organization with other educational institutions of Ukraine and all over the world, and also with public organizations.
Over the past three years, the total number of events related to sustainable development and the environment at the International European University is 157. These events contribute to raising the consciousness of students and the public about the importance of caring for nature and contribute to the development of environmental initiatives in Ukraine and beyond.





The Student Self-Government of the International European University actively contributes to the goals of sustainability and sustainable development by organizing various events and initiatives for the student community. Here are some of these activities:
– Student Scientific and Practical Conferences: Self-Government promotes conferences where students can share their research and ideas aimed at sustainable development. It facilitates the exchange of knowledge and stimulates innovation in the field of sustainability.
– Environmental initiatives: Student self-government organizes projects and activities aimed at improving the state of the university’s environment. This can include litter collection, implementing recycling programs, gardening and other conservation initiatives.
– Peaceful protests against environmental pollution: Student self-government can organize peaceful actions and protests in order to demand from the city authorities to take steps to reduce environmental pollution and improve the quality of the environment.
– Lectures from leading experts: Invitation of leading ecologists and experts in the field of sustainable development to hold lectures and seminars for students. This helps to raise students’ awareness of the importance of caring for nature.
– Sports events: Organization of sports events, such as eco-marathons or bike rides, which promote an active lifestyle and health maintenance, while emphasizing the importance of ecology.
– Projects related to sustainable development and ecology: Students can participate in various projects that are aimed at improving the state of the environment and contribute to achieving sustainable development.
Thanks to these initiatives and measures, the student self-government of the International European University contributes significantly to the education and raising of students’ awareness of the principles of sustainable development and the importance of caring for the environment.



The university has been actively working to support cultural development and diversity among students for a long time. Here is an overview of cultural events that have taken place in recent years:
⬩Acquaintance with the traditions and culture of different peoples, to which representatives of the student body belong: This event promotes the exchange of knowledge and experience between students from different countries. It includes presentations, workshops, music and dance to better understand and experience cultural differences and commonalities.
⬩Rights and Equality Lectures: These lectures help raise students’ awareness of rights and equality in today’s world. They include discussions, presentations and interaction with guests who are experts in the field.
⬩ Equality Day Student Art Exhibitions: Students highlight their ideas about equality through art. These exhibitions include painting, sculpture, photography and other art forms that reflect their understanding of the subject.
⬩ Charity festivals: The University organizes festivals to raise funds to support various charitable initiatives. These events bring students and faculty together to help those in need.
⬩Music Festivals: These festivals include performances by student music groups and special guests. They entertain the audience with various genres of music and promote the exchange of cultural musical experiences.
⬩Street Culture Festivals: These events allow students and visitors to enjoy various aspects of street culture, including gastronomy, street art, dance and a variety of entertainment.





Online Course on Sustainability with the International Swiss School (Switzerland)
Students of the udergraduate courses of higher education can be enrolled into this course to get more involvement in the sustainability processes, to understand more about the importance of it. Students of 18 countries finished this course already.
Malteze Summer School on Sustainable Rebuilding AFTER the war in Ukraine
This course is taught in Malta. University teachers live and study together with students during the semester in Malta. During this time, students study the impact of war on the sustainable development of our country. How should we build the country.
Inequality and discrimination in society
This course is taught as an elective by Polish professor Janusz Habowski for Ukrainian students. Students learn to overcome the problem of inequality based on the experience of European countries.
ERASMUS+ KA220-HED NatAlli “Fostering the Renascence of Societies through Lifelong Learning Mentoring Programmes and Allies”!
The project is coordinated by FH Münster, Germany

NatAlli aims to develop a mentoring programme to train and accompany highly educated Ukrainian women in their journeys to act as entrepreneurs or as intrapreneurs in established organisations to be agents of the regeneration of their economies and societies. The project also seeks to establish an online community of women who can support and learn from each other, to foster intergenerational learning and knowledge transfer between women at different stages of their careers.
ERASMUS+ KA220-YOU MY PEACE “MUSIC FOR YOUTH – a PEACE building approach”.

MUSIC for YOUTH – a PEACE building approach (MY PEACE) provides young people with an appealing and youth-friendly way to engage in the peacebuilding process through music. MY PEACE will contribute to the peacebuilding process in Europe by offering an innovative and promising educational approach to empower youth as bearers of peace education, including young people.
